i3 Verticals is a leading software company dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. We are seeking a versatile professional who can blend Quality Assurance (QA) and Training Documentation responsibilities to support our professional services team.
Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance (QA) Responsibilities- Develop, execute, and document test cases, test plans, SQL scripts, and scenarios to ensure software applications function according to user requirements.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to refine software functionality, recommend improvements, and complete additional testing.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality and testing processes.
- Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
- Support the development team by clarifying requirements, assisting in prioritization, and validating that solutions meet business needs through user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Maintain thorough documentation of testing processes, including application evaluations, testing methods, and implemented improvements.
- Organize and assist with creating and maintaining user guides, training materials, and FAQs for internal and external users.
- Develop step-by-step instructional content and video tutorials as needed.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation is up to date with software changes.
- 1+ years of experience in a QA or technical writing role.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and analyzing data.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with QA tools (JIRA, Selenium, Test Rail, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or related field or relevant work experience.
- Experience in the SaaS or enterprise software industry.
- Familiarity with automation testing frameworks.
- Prior experience conducting user training or instructional design.
High School or better.
Experience1+ years of experience in a QA or technical writing role.
