Job DescriptionStefanini is a full-service global provider of offshore, onshore and nearshore IT services. We specialize in application development, outsourcing, IT infrastructure, help desk support, desktop services, systems integration, consulting, and strategic staffing.
What will you do?- Support IT equipment in a large corporate environment
- Provide desktop/laptop technical support for Mac and PC
- Maintain Windows 10/11 operating systems
- Support mobile devices, printers, scanners, wireless, VPN, and more
- Support IMAC installation, move, add, and change
- Maintain repairs, spare parts, and components
- Research and troubleshoot problems
- Maintain system configurations and documentation
- Track and resolve customer incidents through the client’s ticketing tool
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for Windows devices
- Perform backup, restoration, and migration of user data
- Provide Smart Hands support with networking, server, and telecommunications technologies
- Support printer and peripheral devices
- Manage inventory of IT assets including asset auditing
- Research and follow appropriate knowledge‑base articles
- Work on‑call and other after‑hours support needs
- May provide executive support
- Perform various other deskside tasks
- Provide support at other client locations as needed
- Complete other duties as assigned
- 2+ years of corporate deskside support or equivalent experience
- Willingness to adopt innovative tools such as AI and IT health monitoring software
- Excellent troubleshooting capability
- Ability to remain composed while handling challenging, dynamic, rapid‑response support
- Experience with Microsoft Office / Office 365 suite
- Experience with computer imaging software and data migration (e.g., SCCM, Intune)
- Experience with endpoint protection and encryption (Bit Locker) support
- Familiarity with remote desktop support tools
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Physical ability to walk, bend, stand for prolonged periods, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds
- Physical presence at a Stefanini or client location during shift
- Demonstrated professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
- Maintain a neat, professional work area and appearance in compliance with site policies
- Pass a standard panel drug screening and background check
- Adhere to the assigned shift schedule
- A+ Certification
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- Windows architecture knowledge (permissions and file structure)
- Mac/Apple experience preferred
- Basic network concepts (Active Directory, workstation‑domain trust relationships)
