IT Consultant, IT Business Analyst, IT Project Manager
[MULTIPLE POSITIONS] Responsibilities
In this role, you will operate within teams to assess the client infrastructure environment—including current issues, standards, technology, tooling, processes, capabilities, operating model, and ongoing transformation. You will support teams in creating the future‑state IT infrastructure strategy that addresses stakeholder‑agreed issues and change requirements, taking into account business strategy, guiding principles, and ongoing transformation projects. Additional responsibilities include designing customer flows and journey analysis;
applying knowledge of business models, business and consumer technologies for implementation plans and IT improvement approaches; supporting vendor selection and procurement engagements by providing technical and analytical expertise to build requirements; coordinating a variety of project work that includes gathering information to evaluate client business environments and economic factors; and providing pre‑sales support, such as understanding client requirements, building proposals, statements of work, and creating effort and resourcing plans.
Periodic domestic travel (up to 80% of the time) is expected, and candidates must live within reasonable commuting distance of Houston, TX.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or its foreign equivalent.
• At least five (5) years of experience as a Senior Consultant, Technical Advisory, or in a similar role delivering IT advisory solutions, specifically within the energy sector or on energy‑related initiatives.
• Experience in business analysis and financial reporting, including interpreting business models, collecting requirements, designing solutions, and collaborating with developers to implement them.
• Experience in procurement and contract assurance, covering full procurement cycles, response management, and technical and non‑technical contract assurance.
• Experience utilizing Energy Management software and Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) systems such as D365 Finance, Azure, and/or Endur.
• Experience in IT infrastructure and cloud services, including lifecycle support, Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft Power Platform, and Service Now.
• Experience in cloud services solution development, system integration, and performance optimization across enterprise environments.
• Experience leading global teams, coordinating onshore/offshore work, and facilitating project work across international stakeholders.
• Experience communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, presenting creative solutions, and identifying system performance improvements.
Salary range for this position in Houston, TX: $129,000–$130,000 per year.
