Title: UNIX/Solaris Systems Administrator
Location: Kendall Park, NJ
Responsibilities- Customer, configure, install, maintain, and upgrade servers, hardware, and software utilizing UNIX, Linux, Solaris 2.5.1+ operating system.
- Design, develop, and implement strategies for system database operations, production, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Deploy and set up NIS, NFS, DNS, and AUTOFS environments on system servers.
- Perform system maintenance and tuning for Solaris, Linux Red Hat, and SUN V240+ servers using VMSTAT, IOSTAT, NETSTATT, and NDD testing tools.
- Manage and oversee system migrations and development projects.
- May require travel or relocation to unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience, OR a Bachelor’s degree in one of those fields with at least 5 years of experience.
