Senior Windows Server Administrator

This role provides senior-level Windows Server administration support in a virtualized environment. The incumbent will manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure, on‑premises systems, and Azure services integration while maintaining performance, security, and best practices across the Windows infrastructure stack.

• Manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including Entra , security optimization, and Azure services.
• Implement cloud security best practices and integrate on‑premises systems with Azure services.
• Provide day‑to‑day administration of Core Windows Infrastructure:
  Active Directory, Domain Controllers, GPOs, Certificate Services, DNS, DHCP, Print Servers, Hyper‑V, VMware, IIS, MS SQL, and WSUS.
• Perform performance analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex infrastructure issues using logs, traces, and network analysis tools.
• Develop and execute automation workflows, reporting scripts, and reusable configuration modules using Power Shell.
• Support virtualization and application hosting environments, including Hyper‑V, VMware ESX/ESXi/vSphere, vCenter, vMotion, DRS, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams: networking, storage, project management, capacity planning, and incident management.
• Lead technical discussions and translate complex concepts into actionable language for diverse audiences.
• Apply ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management; train and guide teams on new processes and cloud architecture best practices.
• Mentor junior staff, provide knowledge transfer, and support continuous improvement.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent education and experience.
• 7+ years of experience in senior Windows Server administration and server configuration support.
• Strong proficiency in Power Shell scripting and automation.
• Experience implementing and managing Active Directory services, GPOs, and security protocols (Kerberos, NTLM).
• Experience with VMware ESX/ESXi, vCenter, vMotion, DRS; and other virtualization technologies.
• Competence in enterprise storage technologies and integration with storage administration groups.
• Understanding of Hyper‑V, IIS, MS SQL, and WSUS.
• Valid industry certifications preferred: MCSA/MCSE/MCTIP‑SA, VMware VCP or similar.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements.
• Good English language reading, writing, speaking skills.
• Credit history check required for all candidates.
