Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Help Desk Technician to join our growing team. The Help Desk Technician will provide technical support and assistance to our internal staff and external clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-level technical support to internal staff and external clients via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software
  • Monitor and respond to help desk tickets and ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of all help desk interactions and resolutions
  • Train and educate users on basic computer and software usage
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments
  • Assist with IT projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a help desk or technical support role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other common business applications
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus
