Senior Network Administrator

SHR Talent is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to join our client's Information Technology team. This position offers a blend of hands‑on technical work, strategic infrastructure planning, and collaboration with a knowledgeable IT team.

• Manage the day-to-day health, performance, and availability of the organization's network infrastructure.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, firewall, and network security technologies.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network performance issues while minimizing downtime.
• Support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core infrastructure services.
• Plan and implement infrastructure enhancements, hardware replacements, and software updates.
• Strengthen network security through monitoring, access controls, and industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, system standards, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and IT leadership on infrastructure initiatives and technology improvements.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation to support business‑critical systems when needed.

• Five or more years of experience administering enterprise network environments.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, routing and switching, firewalls, VPN connectivity, and wireless networking.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms, storage solutions, and cloud technologies is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues independently.
• Strong communication skills with a customer‑focused approach to technical support.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or equivalent are a plus.
