Field Risk Control Representative

Overview

Tokio Marine HCC – Public Risk Group, near Atlanta, Georgia, is a market leader in specialized insurance products for municipal entities. We are seeking a Field Risk Control Representative to perform on‑site and virtual risk control evaluations to reduce and transfer risk for insured entities.

• Conduct on‑site risk control evaluations and provide risk control reports to insured entities.

• Perform property evaluations, review safety policies/procedures, and deliver targeted risk control services.

• Conduct educational seminars for insureds.

• Collaborate with Underwriting and Claims teams to review exposures, optimize mitigation, and identify trends.

• Support other departments in developing forms, policies, and procedures to improve work processes.

• Previous experience with public entities or property and liability insurance
• Minimum 2 years of progressive public risk control experience in risk management or insurance industry
• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent education and/or experience
• Ability to apply knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
• Solid written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
• Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledgeable of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
• State issued Driver’s License
• Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Risk Management for Public Entities (RMPE) and/or equivalent insurance designation, Property and Casualty Agents License is an asset

• Travel up to 80% may be required
• Overtime hours may be required to fulfill job responsibilities
• May be required to remain stationary for extended periods of time
• May be required to move up to 10 pounds
