A paralegal supports attorneys by performing substantive legal work, including conducting research, drafting legal documents (motions, briefs, contracts), interviewing clients, and managing case files. They assist with trial preparation, organize evidence, and communicate with witnesses, but cannot provide legal advice or appear in court.

The pay rate for this job is $25 – $27 / hour*

• Legal Document Preparation:
  Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and subpoenas
• Case Management & Research:
  Conducting legal research, analyzing precedents, and organizing case files
• Summarizing depositions, organizing exhibits, and preparing trial binders
• Client Communication:
  Interviewing clients, witnesses, and experts
• Administrative Support:
  Filing documents with courts and managing calendars

Shift Timings – 1st Shift (Day)

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People Ready
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Background check and drug screening required
