Buyer for Customer Support in GAC Savannah
This Buyer requisition is open to support multiple roles within in our customer support portion in procurement. The requisition is open on an ongoing basis. The customer support purchasing team partners with our service centers and third party vendors to purchase parts for our aircraft that is in flight with our customers. Buyers work in teams with Associate Buyers, other Buyers, and Procurement Specialists.
Ideal candidates for this role will have purchasing and SAP (or other ERP) experience.
Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, business administration or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 2 years Procurement, supply chain or related experience. Master's Degree may offset 2 years of experience.
Position
Purpose:
Under limited supervision, executes procurement activities for aerospace parts, materials, and services. Ensures compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while supporting operational efficiency and supplier performance.

Perform other duties as assigned. A credit history check from a national credit bureau will be conducted for all candidates for this position including new hires and current employees seeking promotion or transfer. This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
