Supply Chain Planner
We are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join our Performance Chemicals team in Savannah, GA. As a Supply Chain Planner on the Refining Supply Chain Team, this role is responsible for developing production plans and managing raw material supply for the Savannah, GA site to ensure customer demand is met while optimizing plant performance, inventory levels, and supply chain efficiency.
The position also supports raw material and operational planning for selected toll manufacturing locations and works closely with cross-functional stakeholders, reporting to the North America Supply Chain Planning Manager based in Attapulgus, GA.
Supplying the Savannah plant with key raw materials in the most efficient and cost-effective manner while ensuring continuity of operations.
Providing short- and long-term raw material forecasts to support procurement strategy and supplier negotiations.
Facilitating Management of Change (MOC) processes related to new suppliers, materials, and supply chain initiatives.
Managing raw material supply and coordinating planning activities for selected toll manufacturing locations.
Ordering packaging materials to support customer demand and ensure timely fulfillment of outbound orders.
Monitoring supplier and carrier performance, identifying service issues, and initiating NCMs as needed to maintain high service levels.
Supporting monthly close activities as a key member of the closing team.
If you possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, and/or 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, or a high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant supply chain experience to effectively navigate the complexities of the site and role. Demonstrate a strong customer-focused mindset while supporting both internal stakeholders and external customers. Bring the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Operations, Quality/Regulatory, Procurement, and the broader Supply Chain team to develop optimal production plans and ensure efficient raw material supply.
Exhibit strong analytical capabilities to evaluate KPI trends, identify improvement opportunities, and support strategic supply chain and operational decision-making. Utilize technical expertise in SAP, Cobalt, and other business systems, along with advanced skills in data analysis, database management, and spreadsheet applications.
