As the new maintenance worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the lift stations and the sewer conveyance system. Responsibilities- Performs skilled and semi‑skilled maintenance tasks in maintaining Lift Stations.
- Assists in Lift Station lawn maintenance and appearance.
- Operates various hand and power tools, lawn mowers, and trimmers.
- Maintains assigned vehicles and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures.
- Repairs to landscaping.
- Assists the supply clerk with picking up orders from the warehouse.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent; six (6) months of related maintenance experience necessary.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Background investigation including supervised drug screen, post‑offer/pre‑employment medical screen, and verification of education, certifications, and licenses required prior to employment.
- Knowledge of the repair and maintenance of sewer system equipment.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Skill in the repair and maintenance of sewer conveyance system components.
- Skill in establishing priorities and organizing work.
- Skill in the use of hand and power tools.
- Skill in oral and written communication.
