Job DescriptionThe Democratic Party of Georgia is seeking an experienced Deputy Organizing Director to lead a diverse and robust team of Regional Organizing Directors for the 2026 Georgia Coordinated Campaign. We are looking for passionate, hardworking individuals who are committed to building the turnout operation needed to win elections up and down the ballot in November 2026. This fundamental role within the Organizing Leadership Team is a full-time position and based in Atlanta, GA.
Responsibilities- Coach and manage a team of Regional Organizing Directors.
- Develop strategies and systems that lead your regions to successfully meet and exceed daily, weekly, and phase organizing goals, as well as maintain data integrity.
- Assist the Organizing Director in program development and execution.
- Support the hiring and onboarding of field staff.
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders in designated region.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- 2+ cycles of organizing experience with staff management responsibilities.
- Ability to create a motivating and inclusive culture both in specific super-regions and statewide.
- Experience hiring and training a sizable team.
- Willingness to manage a diverse team with different experiences and perspectives, and a commitment to helping them grow and succeed. Experience working in large, metric driven voter contact programs.
- Proficient in VAN.
