This Location is in Savannah GA and employs approximately 40 people operating one daytime shift M-F.

Ross also has locations in Long Island New York, and Port St. Lucie FL.

• Would need to be able to detail a Pressure Vessel such as mapping out angles on a head and be able to fit pipe into the cut out holes on the head of a pressure vessel with only being handed a engineering drawing.
• A very experienced welder with knowledge of welding on stainless steel & carbon steel with extreme precision.
• Will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, fitting and welding metal components, operating welding equipment, and ensuring the quality and integrity of welds.
• Will be Required to pass one or multiple ASME weld test once hired.
• Performs all tasks to ASME standards and requirements.
• Uses blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels, as well as correct components installed on the finished product
• Assume responsibility and care of assigned tools and equipment
• Welds metal parts on fixtures including attaching jigs and clamps to hold metal parts in proper position
• TIG & MIG. Weld materials in flat, vertical, and overhead positions once ASME weld test is pass.
• Cut materials using air arcs, burning rods, and acetylene/oxygen cutting torches to fit fabrication and job requirements.
• Problem Solving. Must be able to problem solve and make independent decisions regarding weld draws while fabricating and addressing other issues.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience of welding on Carbon Steel & Stainless Steel.
• Ability to work with precision instruments.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
