Metrology Technician II - 3rd Shift in GAC Savannah
Unique SkillsSkills with scanning or laser trackers a plus. Ability to operate Metrolog X4 or X4V5 software preferred but other metrology software such as Spatial Analyzer, Verisurf, Geomagic, etc. are acceptable as well.
This will be a 3rd shift M - TH position.
Education and Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED required. 4 years Laser Tracker, Laser Radar or CMM experience. 2 years Metro logic and CATIA V5 experience. 2 years tool fabrication, jig building, or machine shop experience preferred. Must be proficient in reading and interpreting aircraft & tooling designs. Must possess strong computer and shop math skills. Valid Driver s License required.
Position Purpose
:
Performed technical work related to the gathering of highly accurate 3 dimensional data used to set up aircraft tooling and perform measurement studies on in-process or completed aircraft.
