Key Responsibilities- Responsible for the strategic growth of the manufacturing facility, working in partnership with business partners and Henry Schein Manufacturing global organization to support business growth and supply chain excellence.
- Responsible for planning strategic investment at the site to enable growth and future manufacturing initiatives. Presenting business cases to drive investment.
- Site oversight for Production and Operations Management:
- Direct site leadership and teams on production output, product quality, and on‑time shipping in a metric‑driven operation
- Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and other relevant industry standards.
- Design resource allocation effectively to achieve production goals.
- Build the organizational capabilities and the talent to support business requirements, both for today’s needs and forward‑looking growth.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage the plant’s budget, including labor, materials, and operational expenses.
- Identify and implement cost‑saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.
- Prepare and present financial and operational reports for leadership.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all products meet or exceed regulatory and customer requirements.
- Lead and participate in regulatory audits and inspections.
- 12+ years of experience in regulated manufacturing, supply chain operations.
- Able to manage relationships across a matrix reporting structure.
- Proven leadership and management skills in a high growth and dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to lead and drive change in a dynamic business environment.
- Record of successfully introducing and implementing strategic initiatives in a manufacturing/supply chain environment preferred.
- Budgeting and forecasting experience required.
- Analytical skills for data review and process optimization.
- Excellent management and leadership skills and ability to attract, retain, motivate, develop and mentor team members for high performance.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to resolve disputes effectively.
- Outstanding presentation and public speaking skills.
- Outstanding independent decision making, analysis, and problem‑solving skills.
- Understand, interpret and act on financial information that contributes to business profitability.
- Ability to plan and manage complex, successful projects; understand available resources, develop timelines, budgets and assign responsibilities.
