Job Title: Powerplant Podding Technician II

Working Pattern: Onsite Monday – Thursday (6:30am – 5pm working 10-hour shifts)

As the Powerplant Podding Technician II for Rolls‑Royce, your role will be focused on primarily supporting the Business Aviation Integrated Power Plant System podding operation and supplementing the team supporting Gulfstream’s production operation. In this role, you will need to be able to lift engine components weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.

• Comply with work scope instructions as directed by our operations and engineering groups
• Assemble engines together with power plant and nacelle components to build integrated power plant systems and use intermediate troubleshooting logic to identify defects in components or parts
• Access and use engine data materials such as aircraft maintenance manual, engine maintenance manual, etc.
• Understand, interpret and apply service bulletins, FAA advisory directives and technical variances when applicable
• Must be able to work overtime as needed

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Development) equivalent with 2+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul experience, OR
• Associate’s degree with 1+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul
• In order to be considered eligible for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen

• FAA Airframe & Power Plant License
• Prior customer relations experience
• Engine or Aircraft logbook familiarity
• Understanding of basic to intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel functionality
