As a Level V Inspector for Rolls‑Royce, you will ensure the airworthiness of engines and engine components under a Part 145 repair station. You will ensure that regulatory and quality requirements are maintained and comply with all applicable Regulatory Regulations (FAA, EASA, CAAC), Quality Manuals and local work instructions (OPs).
In this role, you will advocate and promote company policies that include, but are not limited to, product safety, safe work practices, OSHA, EPA, Federal, State, and Local policies/regulations. You will use your expertise and knowledge of maintenance and repair of Rolls‑Royce gas turbine engines and components.
Working Conditions, Schedule & Travel- Shift Flexibility:
Flexible to work any shift depending on business needs and possibly on a last‑minute basis (locally or requiring travel). - Available
Shifts:
1st shift (6:30 am to 3 pm), 2nd shift (2 pm to 12:30 am), and Weekend shift (6:00 am to 6:30 pm for 3, 12‑hour shifts). - Compensation:
Shift differentials are offered. - Overtime:
Available on an as‑needed basis depending on workload, manpower, and customer demand. - Travel:
Up to 40% travel with a duration of up to 10 days may be required. - Physical Requirements:
- Must be physically able to lift engine components weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work at secured elevated heights.
- Must be physically able to perform duties that require working in awkward positions.
- Perform quality control inspections on engines and engine components in a Repair Station and Field environment.
- Comply with work scope instructions as directed by our Maintenance Operations Center or team lead.
- Operate precision tools and equipment to perform accurate dimensions without error.
- Understand, interpret, and apply Service Bulletins, FAA/EASA Advisory Directives, and Technical Variances when applicable.
- Take responsibility for paperwork including logbook entries, 8130‑3, and return to service documents.
- Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion on all maintenance, prior to approval for return to service.
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED with 5+ years of experience working with gas turbine engine components and experience as an aviation inspector or as a shop quality representative (DQR) with experience working within an Aviation Repair Station (Part 145) and/or Air Carrier (Part 121);
- Associate degree with 4+ years of experience working with gas turbine engine components and experience as an aviation inspector or as a shop quality representative (DQR) with experience working within an Aviation Repair Station (Part 145) and/or Air Carrier (Part 121).;
- Must have FAA Mechanic certificate (Part 65).
- This position is an FAA-designated safety-sensitive position. The selected candidate must successfully complete an FAA/DOT pre‑employment background check, an FAA/DOT drug screen that tests for the presence of Marijuana, Cocaine, Opiates, Phencyclidine, and Amphetamines (or metabolites of those drugs), and comply with FAA-mandated rules on drug and alcohol use.

- 6+ years prior gas turbine experience
- Strong leadership skills with past experience
- Borescope knowledge and able to perform audits and assist with investigations
