Overview
Georgia-Pacific Gypsum is seeking motivated and safety-oriented individuals to join our team as Paint Line Operators at our Savannah, Georgia facility.
This position creates value by supporting our operations team in the continuous manufacturing of our wallboard product. Shift12-hour rotating shifts on days and nights with weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
- Day shift: 7am-7pm
- Night shift: 7pm-7am

What You Will Do- Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
- Monitor and/or enter into computer control systems
- Operate mobile equipment that ranges from forklifts to heavy equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
- Perform basic asset care duties including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
- Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
- Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
- Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day in a loud/noisy, industrial, high-volume environment
- Work in an industrial environment that is hot, humid, and noisy. Work around dust, grease, oil and other chemical substances. This is a non-climate-controlled facility, with temperatures that can be very high in summer and cold in winter
- Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, or warehouse environment OR completion of post high school education in manufacturing/industrial
- Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
- Experience troubleshooting equipment in a manufacturing setting
- Experience operating a heavy load forklift
