Bracing Profiling Machine Operator 2nd shift

ResponsibilitiesMachine Setup & Operation:
Install and align roller dies (tooling) on spindles, load steel/metal coils using cranes or forklifts, and adjust settings for thickness, speed, and shear.
Production Monitoring:
Run the roll-forming line, ensuring continuous material feed, proper lubrication, andaccuratecut-to-length functionality.
Quality Control:
Perform first-off inspections, using calipers, micrometers, angle gauges, and tape measures to verify that finished products match blueprints and specs.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform daily preventive maintenance (cleaning, oiling, greasing) and troubleshoot issues like jamming, roller wear, or misalignment.
Safety Adherence:
Strict adherence to safety protocols, including machine guarding, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and PPE usage.
Experience:
2 years of experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or specific roll-forming machine operation.
Technical
Skills:
Ability to read blueprints, SAPwork orders, navigate MES system, and interpret technical drawings.
Tools:
Proficiency in using hand tools (wrenches), measuring instruments (calipers, gauges, tape measure, micrometer), and potentially overhead cranes.
Physical Strength:
Capability to lift materials (often up to 50lbs) and stand forlong periods.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
