Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, General Labor
Job Summary
Inspecting and repairing furniture as well as assembling furniture for our clients as directed by the Station Manager or Floor Supervisor.
Essential Functions- Inspect all furniture that comes through the warehouse to ensure it meets company standards
- Evaluate damages and select appropriate methods of repair and/or restoration for wood furniture, leather, fabric and upholstery
- Maintain inventory and stock records within refurbishing department and order supplies required to perform daily tasks
- Utilize tools and other specialized machinery to repair furniture
- Assist with delivery of products to homes and other locations
- Assist with off‑loading trailers manually (no forklifts)
- Assist with pulling delivery routes
- Perform other duties as requested
- Ability to assemble & repair furniture carefully and accurately
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast‑paced environment
- Efficiency with color matching and blending
- Ability to read, write and speak English
High School degree or equivalent.
ExperienceMinimum 2 years’ experience working with wood furniture, leather, fabric and upholstery.
Physical RequirementsThis position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Employees must be able to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend and lift objects above their head, regularly lift/move up to 75 pounds, use a phone and a PC, and read and write various shipping documents.

$30 to $31.25 per hour.
* The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
