Job Summary
We are seeking a Chemical Operator for a temp-to-permanent opportunity in Savannah, GA. This role is ideal for a dependable manufacturing professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced chemical processing environment and committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.
The Chemical Operator will operate and monitor production equipment, support hazardous materials handling activities, load and unload tank trucks and railcars, perform equipment checks, and maintain accurate production records. This opportunity offers a structured rotating schedule, competitive hourly pay, and the potential for permanent placement based on performance.

Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment, including pumps, valves, filters, compressors, dryers, and related plant systems.
- Load and unload tank trucks and railcars while following all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
- Operate a forklift and perform routine equipment inspections, basic troubleshooting, and housekeeping duties.
- Conduct product quality checks, perform analytical testing, and maintain accurate production records.
- Report hazards, follow written and verbal instructions, and support safe daily plant operations.
- Assist with process improvements and other operational tasks as assigned by supervision.

Must be available to work a 24/7 rotating shift schedule, including overtime. - 28-day rotation includes 4 consecutive night shifts followed by 3 days off, 3 consecutive day shifts followed by 1 day off, 3 consecutive night shifts followed by 3 days off, and 4 consecutive day shifts followed by 7 consecutive days off.
