Position Summary:
As the Powerplant Podding Technician II for Rolls-Royce, your role will be focused on primarily supporting the Business Aviation Integrated Power Plant System podding operation and supplementing the team supporting Gulfstream's production operation.
What you will be doing:
- Comply with work scope instructions as directed by our operations and engineering groups
- Assemble engines together with power plant and nacelle components to build integrated power plant systems and use intermediate troubleshooting logic to identify defects in components or parts
- Access and use engine data materials such as aircraft maintenance manual, engine maintenance manual, etc.
- Understand, interpret and apply service bulletins, FAA advisory directives and technical variances when applicable
- Must be able to work overtime as needed
Basic Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Development) equivalent with 2+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul experience, OR
- Associate's degree with 1+ years of aircraft maintenance, repair, and/or overhaul
- In order to be considered eligible for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen
Preferred Requirements:
- FAA Airframe & Power Plant License
- Prior customer relations experience
- Engine or Aircraft logbook familiarity
- Understanding of basic to intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel functionality

- Ability to lift engine components weighing up to approximately 50 pounds
