Job Summary
The Pediatric Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA collaborates with the healthcare team to protect, promote, and optimize health, prevent illness and injury, alleviate suffering, and advocate for individuals and families. The RN incorporates Watson’s theory into practice and works in accordance with hospital policies, the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, and professional standards.
Responsibilities• Work as part of a pediatric float pool to respond to patient care needs throughout the hospital.
• Provide nursing care, including assessment, clinical interventions, education, and coordination of care for pediatric patients across various units.
• Follow established protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications- Registered Nurse (RN) credential
- Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or RN diploma
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 30 days of hire
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire
