American Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a 16‑week assignment in Savannah. The role offers 12‑hour day shifts (36 hours per week), every other weekend, with holidays as needed. The weekly gross pay ranges from $1900 to $2000.

• 1 year of experience as an RN
• At least 1 year of experience in inpatient psych, corrections, or addictions
• Valid Registered Nurse license
• Willingness to obtain GA or compact state licensure

• Accurately administer prescribed medications and initiate intravenous therapies
• Conduct thorough health assessments, identify client problems and needs, and develop individualized nursing care plans
• Makes daily resident rounds to assess physical and emotional status and implement required nursing interventions
• Respond to resident and family concerns, document them, and initiate or communicate resolution to appropriate staff
• Serve as shift leader and resource to other staff on the unit
