What You Will Do:
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, and more
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X‑rays and lab work
  • Provide patient education and follow‑up care instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system

What You’ll Bring :
  • Active and unrestricted NP or PA license in the state of Florida
  • Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA‑C)
  • Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred
  • Confidence performing common urgent care procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting)
Key Skills & Requirements
  • Strong clinical decision‑making and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent bedside manner and communication abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Commitment to delivering patient‑first care
  • 2+ years’ experience in providing patient care as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred
  • Master’s degree (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) and appropriate state license required
  • ABMS Board certification in internal medicine or family practice preferred
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogens and others
  • Understanding of medical coding and billing
  • Detail‑oriented and confident in medical best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with every patient interaction
  • Competent with common PC applications including Internet, Email and Microsoft Office as well as EMR applications
  • Experience with occupational health practices including DOT qualification, drug testing protocols, employment physicals, and OSHA guidelines
Preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in providing patient care as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is preferred
  • Master’s degree (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) and appropriate state license required
  • ABMS Board certification in internal medicine or family practice preferred
  • Prior urgent care or emergency department experience
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • DOT certification (or willingness to obtain)
