Position Summary
Pay Grade: F
Under direct supervision, provides assistance to Public Health Nurses and county programs. Works in the Fast Track immunization department, responsible for administering vaccines to patients across the lifespan and providing appropriate documentation afterward. Additionally assists in WIC.
Responsibilities- Assist Public Health Nurses and county programs.
- Administer vaccines to patients across the lifespan.
- Provide documentation after vaccination.
- Assist in WIC activities.
- Vocational/Technical degree in licensed practical nursing from an accredited college.
- Current Georgia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- CPR certification.
- For PH LPN 2:
Two years of LPN public health experience. - For PH LPN 3:
Four years of LPN public health experience. - One (1) year of experience required at the lower-level LPN position equivalent.
PH LPN 1 – Starting Salary: $32,170.
PH LPN 2 – Starting Salary: $35,387.
PH LPN 3 – Starting Salary: $38,926.
