Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home nursing services across Chatham, Wayne, and Bryan Counties. This is a 1099 independent contractor role requiring strong clinical judgment, excellent time management, and a commitment to high-quality patient care in a home setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-home nursing visits in accordance with individualized care plans
- Perform medication management, including reconciliation, education, and monitoring for compliance and side effects
- Complete accurate, timely, and compliant nursing documentation
- Assess patient conditions and communicate changes promptly to appropriate parties
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and Georgia state regulations
- Provide patient and caregiver education on disease processes, medications, and care plans
- Maintain professional communication with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
- Demonstrate punctuality and reliability for all scheduled visits and assignments
- Participate in care coordination and follow-up as needed
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (home care experience preferred)
- Current CPR certification (e.g., American Heart Association)
- Strong knowledge of medication administration and management
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail and compliance with regulatory standards
- Professional demeanor and communication skills
- Time management and ability to meet documentation deadlines
- Dependability and accountability
