Overview
RN Med Surg, Part Time Nights – Surgical Unit. Sign on Bonus up to $5,000.
Schedule:
2 x 12‑hour shifts per week. Join us at Piedmont Eastside: 36 Med/Surg beds, complex patient needs.
Management of patients having or requiring: general post‑surgical, bariatric, sepsis, pneumonia, COPD, diabetic, osteomyelitis, pancreatitis.
The unit uses bedside report handoff, purposeful rounding, quality initiatives such as pain assessment, pressure ulcer prevention, infection prevention for lines and catheters, unit educator, charge nurse, EPIC system.
ResponsibilitiesThe staff nurse provides nursing care from birth through lifecycle, assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates; functions within policies, demonstrates professional growth and accountability; maintains standards and coordinates care activities for quality.

- Minimum
Education Required:
Graduate of a nursing program - Minimum Experience
Required:
New graduates eligible - Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by law: Current license in Georgia as RN or NLC/eNLC; BLS required.
- Additional Qualifications: PRN positions: one year nursing experience in hospital; bachelor’s preferred; advanced certification in specialty if applicable; nursing experience in hospital preferred.
