Per diem opening in charming Savannah, GA, with team-oriented practice at Candler Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital with a high degree of autonomy.
Chartered in 1804, Candler Hospital is Georgia's first hospital, and the second oldest continuously operating hospital in the United States. This 384-bed facility is affiliated with the Methodist Church and offers comprehensive primary care, outpatient services, and other specialty services.
St. Joseph's Hospital has been part of this growing community since 1934, caring for generations of patients of all ages. Extremely skilled and experienced physicians, including those with national and international reputations, cover more than 70 specialties—such as surgery, internal medicine, neurology, and cardiology. A new six-story tower with 90 private patient rooms features a covered drop-off entrance and convenient ground-floor registration for patients.
Our practice has served the Southeast Georgia market for more than 60 years and provides anesthesia services eph's/Candler Hospitals, Effingham Hospital in Springfield, GA, and several ambulatory surgery centers.
Case Assignments:
Cardiac, general, orthopedic, neuro, GI, vascular, endo, gynecology, pediatrics Radiologic and Interventional Cardiac Procedures. No OB.
Shifts:
Monday thru Friday , call and non-call opportunities, other shifts also available.

Smita Patel, Chief Anesthetist Katelyn Hillard, Chief Anesthetist, Candler Hospital Jonathan Hester, Chief Anesthetist, St. Joseph's Hospital.

Requirements:
Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessment, obtaining and/or verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, monitoring of the patient's physiological condition, and performance of clinical intervention as needed.
Requirements:
Current license as a registered professional nurse, graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education, certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
