LPN Charge Nurse

Per Diem LPN – Savannah, GA

Pay Range: $24.00–$30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Need: Willingness to work holidays, either weekend shift, day shift (7am-3pm), evening shift (3pm-11pm) or night shift (11pm-7am).

MERCY CONVENT, home to the Sisters of Mercy, seeks compassionate and dependable LPN to join our team on a per diem/PRN basis. This role provides direct care to the Sisters and oversees caregivers during assigned shifts to ensure high‑quality, mission‑aligned service.

• Provide direct nursing care per care plan and physician orders
• Supervise and support caregivers during assigned shifts
• Complete assessments, vitals, documentation, and medication administration
• Respond promptly to Sisters’ needs and any changes in condition
• Maintain a safe, clean environment; follow all safety and infection‑control protocols
• Communicate clearly with the DON/RCA, team members, and Sisters
• Assist with admissions, transfers, incident reporting, and chart updates

• Active LPN license in Missouri
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership abilities
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 75 lbs and meet general physical demands
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
