Job ResponsibilitiesUnder direct supervision, aids Public Health Nurses and county programs. Works in our General Clinic department. This role is responsible for the following: assisting with scheduling colposcopy/LEEP appointments, mailing results and education material, administering vaccines, preparing clients for, and assisting with, examinations and treatments, preparing rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies for procedures, ordering supplies, providing education to clients, families, and community service providers, delivering health care and first aid, consulting and coordinating with health care team members, maintaining accurate, detailed client records, assisting with billing tasks, submitting women's health Medicaid applications, participating in community events on occasion, performing clinical tasks such as obtaining vitals, performing pregnancy tests, and collecting blood or other specimens, and lastly executed other clinical and clerical tasks as assigned.
Minimum QualificationsPH LPN 1-Vocational/Technical degree in licensed practical nursing from an accredited college and current Georgia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse and CPR certification and completion of all necessary orientation and training for Public Health LPN. Starting Salary-$32,170.
