Job Summary

Position
:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Primary Care, Onsite – Foxboro, MA.
Schedule
:
Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday.

Sign‑on bonus
: $5,000 for eligible new employees.

Pay Range
: $31.50 – $43.64 per hour, commensurate with experience.

• Interview patients about current problems, medications, allergies and review medical records.
• Measure and record vital signs (height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
• Provide basic patient care and treatments (dress wounds, treat bedsores, give enemas or douches, apply alcohol rubs, massage, perform catheterizations, administer routine immunizations, perform nebulizer treatments, and visual acuity tests).
• Administer medications under the supervision of a physician and registered nurse.
• Perform office responsibilities: answer phones, take messages and triage within scope of licensed practical nursing practice in an accurate and timely manner.
• Collect samples (blood, urine, sputum) and perform routine laboratory tests.
• Prepare patients for examinations, tests or treatments and explain procedures.
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, maintaining personal hygiene, moving in bed or standing and walking.

Education
:
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.

Licenses & Credentials
:
Current LPN licensure in Massachusetts required;
Basic Life Support preferred.

Experience
:
Nursing experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
:

• Basic knowledge of patient education: interviewing, listening, teaching and engagement techniques.
• Ability to accurately perform vital signs and obtain pertinent health information.
• Ability to administer medications via injection, intravenous, and oral routes.
• Knowledge and ability to perform specific procedures and tests appropriate to the clinical setting.
