Job Overview
Under limited supervision the APRN will perform advanced nursing functions in specialized areas including women's health, PrEP for HIV prevention, communicable diseases, and immunizations. The APRN will operate under written nurse protocol and prescriptive authority agreements with a delegating physician to conduct physicals, provide treatment, counsel clients, complete referrals, perform case management/clerical tasks, prescribe medication, and perform additional tasks/duties as assigned.
This is a part‑time hourly position and is not eligible for benefits. Starting min-$50/hr based on qualifications.
Employment DetailsAll Coastal Health District County Health Department employees are deemed essential employees in the event of an emergency. You may be required to participate in staffing a shelter, a Specimen Point of Collection site, and/or a Point of Dispensing site. Participation is a part of your job requirement even if the emergency occurs during or outside regular work hours.

- Certification in the specialty area(s) approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing
- Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Georgia license as an APRN
- CPR certification
