Registered Nurse – Oncology

$1958.40/week –

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Oncology RN for a 13-week travel assignment at a prominent regional medical center. The registered nurse will provide specialized oncology care in a fast-paced hospital setting, supporting patient recovery and treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and other targeted treatments following established protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and manage side effects during and after treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in medical records.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, post-care, and symptom management.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control, and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in oncology nursing practices and procedures.
• Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, on a rotating basis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions.
• Proven ability to manage complex patient cases in a high-volume environment.
• Willingness to adhere to facility policies and safety guidelines.
