Job Summary And Qualifications

The Angiography/IR RN provides specialized nursing care for patients undergoing angiography and interventional radiology procedures. They assist with pre‑procedure preparation, intra‑procedure monitoring, and post‑procedure recovery while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

• Pre‑procedure care:
  Assess patient condition, review medical history, and obtain informed consent.
• Procedure assistance:
  Monitor patient vitals, administer sedation, and provide sterile field support.
• Post‑procedure care:
  Monitor recovery, manage pain, and educate patients on discharge instructions.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with radiologists, technologists, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree, Registered Nurse Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Prior RN experience in Critical Care, Emergency Services, or Interventional Radiology is required.
