Facility Crisis Licensed Practical Nurse PRN

We are hiring for:
Facility Based Crisis Licensed Practical Nurse PRN. Type:
Regular.

• Performing nursing assessments and interventions with medication oversight and administration as needed.
• Reporting client’s social, psychological and physical behavior as indicated.
• Implementing and ensuring compliance with standards of nursing practice that promote optimal health care delivery and meet regulatory requirements.
• Implementing policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance with confidentiality regulations, HIPAA, national accreditation agency and Continuous Quality Improvement, attending applicable meetings as necessary.
• Using state guidelines, Quality Assurance Plan and Client Rights Policy, ensuring that clinical operations comply with state regulations and update plans and policies as necessary.
• Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, making recommendations for hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, motivating, disciplining and promoting team performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Active and current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
• Two years’ experience as a nurse working with behavioral health clients (preferred).
• Working knowledge of psychoactive substance abuse, dependency and the principles and techniques based on best practices, commitment to evidence‑based treatment and preventative methods.
• Valid driver’s license and automotive insurance required (if required for providing transportation for individuals).
• Pre‑employment screening: completion of criminal background check, name check in registries (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities), drug testing, education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
