Role Overview :
The RN Resident is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered nursing care while successfully completing a comprehensive 12-month Nurse Residency Program.
Key Responsibilities:- Performing the nursing process through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Delivering culturally competent care
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Participating in performance improvement initiatives
- Serving as a preceptor or mentor
- Promoting evidence-based practice and research
- Supporting resource management
- Requires a diploma from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure (multi-state preferred), Basic Life Support certification, and less than one year of RN experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Candidates must demonstrate strong critical thinking, teamwork, communication, and adherence to professional standards
- Working under supervision
- Orientation phases including system, core, specialty onboarding, and monthly residency sessions
- Emphasis on compassionate care, professional development, and contribution to a safe, inclusive clinical environment
