• Assist veterinarians during exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures
• Support surgical induction, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery
• Prepare patients and surgical suites using proper sterile techniques
• Monitor patients post‑operatively and report changes in condition

• Confidently handle and restrain patients of various sizes and temperaments
• Assist with triage of urgent cases and help guide appropriate referrals to local emergency hospitals
• Provide compassionate, efficient care in fast‑paced situations

• Perform phlebotomy, catheter placement, radiology, and in‑house lab work
• Administer oral, subcutaneous, and intravenous medications as directed
• Accurately document treatments, diagnostics, and communications in the medical record

• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients regarding patient care and discharge instructions
• Maintain clean, organized, and well‑stocked treatment and surgical areas
• Collaborate closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff

• 2+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant in a clinical setting
• Confidence assisting in surgery and monitoring anesthesia
• Comfort triaging urgent cases and supporting referral decisions
• Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment

• LVT / RVT / CVT a plus

• Experienced, non‑credentialed veterinary assistants will be considered
