What You'll Do

  • Assist the Lab Manager with supervision of all activities related to construction materials laboratory testing, including performing laboratory tests on construction materials.
  • Interpret test data and prepare reports and/or summaries of test data.
  • Maintain an organized lab in compliance with QA/QC initiatives and accreditation requirements.
  • Calibrate laboratory equipment and maintain calibration schedule and records.
  • Perform field and/or lab testing and administrative duties, as appropriate.
  • Other responsibilities may include marketing and business development.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
    Associate or Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering preferred.
  • 2–4 years of related experience.
  • Lab certifications applicable to the lab work performed must be completed within 90 days of the introductory period and within 270 days of employment. If managing both soils and concrete labs, certifications are required for both laboratories.
