What You Will Do
- Navigation of and data entry into applicable databases or quality systems (examples: CABS, SHARP, PRISM, Net Inspect, and Common PDM).
- Verify product and process compliance with respect to contractual, technical, industry, AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and internal policies.
- Ensure identification, physical control, and disposition of non‑conforming material.
- Regularly interface with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
- Interact with off‑site support functions and suppliers.
- Participate in daily status meetings with factory support, factory management, hourly employees, and internal stakeholders.
- BS degree and a minimum of 1 year of experience, or an associate’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or a HS diploma and 4 years of relevant experience.
- Manufacturing process experience in assembly, inspection or test.
- Previous experience reviewing/ interpreting engineering drawings, work instructions, Bill of Materials (BOMs), consumable materials control.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date; U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an ATF clearance prior to the start date.
- Prefer Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Experience with as‑built reports in the CABS system.
- Existing DoD Secret clearance.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management System.
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience in negotiating, having difficult conversations, and working well with factory management, hourly employees, and internal stakeholders.
- Six Sigma or ASQ certification.
- Salaries ranging from $57,200 to $108,800 per year.
