- Process discrepant material (DRDIs and QNs)
- Experience in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing/Planning, or related roles
- Experience with Gulfstream electronic systems (SAP, Solumina, Smar Team, AIR, Catia)
- Familiarity with engineering change implementation process
- Familiarity with FAI and Conformity inspection requirements
- Working knowledge of 14 CFR regulations for production under PC
- Experience with
- Quality Control Inspection Planning
- Familiarity with Aircraft Manufacture and Assembly
- Experience with Quality Management Systems and Control
High School Diploma or GED required. 6 years quality assurance/control, manufacturing operations, maintenance and/or military operations experience is required. Aerospace industry experience preferred.
Position PurposeA Quality Assurance Technician III works with senior Quality Assurance personnel to develop and maintain optimum methods of controlling quality and/or reliability of product or service in assigned areas such as statistical methods, tooling and gaging, inspection methods, and program planning. Responsible for providing technical support through investigations on known Quality issues. Implement plans and instructions in support of departmental policies.
The QA Tech will work with senior Quality Assurance personnel to determine Root cause and corrective action for known Quality issues using the 8D methodology and validated by the audit group. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and develops and promotes a good working relationship with local regulatory authorities. Ensures a safe, conforming and quality product is delivered to our customers.
