Pay Range: $35.33–$52.99/hour
Travel: Up to 40%
Position SummarySeeking an experienced Aviation Quality Inspector to perform airworthiness inspections, ensure regulatory compliance, and support quality assurance activities within an aircraft engine maintenance and repair environment. This role is responsible for inspecting engines and components, reviewing maintenance documentation, conducting audits, and supporting return-to-service activities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inspections of aircraft engines and components in shop and field environments.
- Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, quality, and maintenance requirements.
- Review maintenance records, inspection reports, and return-to-service documentation.
- Interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and engineering instructions.
- Conduct quality audits and support investigations and corrective actions.
- Utilize precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
- Support continuous improvement, safety, and quality initiatives.
- High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of aviation inspection or quality experience, or Associate Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with gas turbine engines and engine components.
- Experience with in FAA Part 145 Repair Stations, Part 121 operations, or similar aviation maintenance environments.
- FAA A&P Mechanic Certificate required.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations, maintenance procedures, and airworthiness standards.
- 6+ years of gas turbine engine experience.
- Experience as an Aviation Inspector, Quality Representative, or similar role.
- Audit, investigation, and leadership experience.
FAA Compliance, Part 145, Part 121, Aviation Inspection, Airworthiness, Gas Turbine Engines, A&P License, Quality Assurance, Technical Audits, Borescope Inspection, Maintenance Documentation, Regulatory Compliance, Root Cause Analysis.
