Job Duties and Responsibilities

* Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines

* Operate and maintain grill station in a safe and efficient manner

* Ensure proper portioning, cooking temperatures, and plating presentation

* Monitor food quality and freshness; label and date food products appropriately

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station before, during, and after shifts

* Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations

* Assist with prep work, stocking, and inventory as needed

* Communicate effectively with kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service

* Perform various other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

* Minimum of High School education or equivalent preferred

* Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen preferred

* Previous grill or line cook experience strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Strong understanding of grilling techniques, food safety, and kitchen equipment

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Team player with a positive attitude

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively

* Strong communication skills

* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
