Bartender

Overview

Double Tree Hotel and Suites by the Galleria is looking for an outgoing and engaging bartender. If you're passionate about delivering great service and have previous bartending experience apply now!

• At least one (1) year of bartending experience required
• Flexible to work holidays and weekends and any PM shift up to 1:00 AM
• Must have the ability to communicate in English both verbal and written
• Comfortable in working with computers for cashiering duties
• Must be able to stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours
• Able to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
• TABC and Food Handler certification required

• Set up bar, requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits and paper products
• Perform all closing duties including cleaning the bar and lounge area
• Greet and engage with guests at the bar and lounge area in a courteous and friendly manner
• Abide by all state, federal and hotel requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages and practice prudent portion control
