Responsible for assisting the management team (Captain, First Mates, and Second Mates) in driving sales through exceptional customer service. Ensures the customer experience, supports our brand promise (“Every Day Should Feel This Good”) and makes service a top priority.

• Generate Sales – Responsible for meeting goals/measures
• Develop and maintain relationships with top customers
• Support in-store event sourcing and execution
• Customer Experience – Ensure store reflects Shep & Ian’s vision of “Every Day Should Feel This Good” to customers through “Hosting the Party”
• Lead store in email capture and educate new associates on best practices
• Ensure customer wish list is always current, notifying customers when product arrives
• Crew Development – Assist with training new associates; foster a welcoming, fun, encouraging and energetic crew and customer environment
• Help recruit and refer top talent for the store’s teams
• Support store and team‑building activities with the management team
• Operations – Maintain efficient merchandise controls; maintain loss prevention awareness; help maintain a clean and tidy store environment
• Merchandising – Help maintain merchandising per company standards, current compass (floorset), and brand initiatives; contribute to weekly product feedback
