As a Carpet and Floor Covering Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting and purchasing carpets, rugs, and other floor coverings. You’ll provide excellent customer service, product knowledge, and expert recommendations to meet the specific needs of each client.

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Provide in-depth product knowledge, explaining the differences between carpet types, materials, colors, and floor covering options.
• Help customers choose the best flooring solutions based on their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Guide customers through the sales process from initial consultation to final purchase, also providing quotes when necessary.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and attractive showroom to showcase our products.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitors to remain knowledgeable.

• Previous sales experience, preferably in flooring.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of different carpet materials, styles, and flooring types is a plus.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
