Job DescriptionCustomer Service Representative (CSR) reports to Store Manager and collaborates with Operations Supervisor/Manager. Responsible for interacting with all customers, maintaining a friendly, positive, authentic, empathetic, professional approach, and delivering a consistent Five-Star Customer Service Experience. Supports the welcome desk, cash wrap, systems/processes, inventory management, and daily routines.
Essential Job Functions- Welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person, communicating clearly and concisely by adapting style to suit customer needs, problem solving, excellent phone skills, and resolving conflict.
- Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver Five-Star Customer Service.
- Maintain all service vows including being prepared, welcoming, meeting the needs, and being present for all customers, and completing operational checklist tasks and meeting emotional and practical needs.
- Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers simultaneously and contribute to store achievement of Five-Star Customer Service.
- Proactively address customer concerns with confidence; know when to elevate and partner with leadership.
- Communicate how alterations can play a role in perfecting dresses, promoting alteration services and personalization options.
- Maintain store standards for a flawless shopping experience and uphold dress‑code policies.
- Respond promptly to customer questions, providing product and service information.
- Build and maintain long‑term relationships to exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Engage in inventory management procedures by processing orders, receiving, and ensuring first‑quality standards for all merchandise.
- Support cash‑wrap behaviors and process transactions accurately to celebrate each customer.
- Assist with sales promotions and visual updates.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Occasionally stand, walk, sit, reach, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must see up close and at a distance, with peripheral vision, and use computers, electronic devices, and phones for long periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years prior retail experience in apparel, service, or specialty store.
