How you’ll make an impact
As a Real Estate Analyst, you will support the company’s growth by analyzing data and helping the team make informed decisions about store locations and performance.
This role works closely with real estate, finance, and other teams to provide insights and reporting across a multi‑store portfolio. The role reports to the Sr. Director, Real Estate Strategy & Analytics.
Key Responsibilities- Provide data‑driven insights for the North American real estate portfolio (store fleet).
- Support store optimization through data and advanced analytics, including a proprietary regression model.
- Prepare strategic real estate data for quarterly business reviews, earnings call/Board of Directors information, and decks for monthly Portfolio Management Committee meetings.
- Respond to ad‑hoc requests to support forecasting, planning, and analysis of the company’s real estate portfolio.
- Prepare analyses and presentations for the monthly portfolio review and new store opportunities.
- Manage pipeline reporting, including interaction with finance, accounting, and legal, and CoStar landlord portfolio analysis.
- Maintain quarterly fleet performance reports shared across the organization and adapt data into storytelling for various audiences.
- 3+ years in financial analysis, real estate analysis, or related retail analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Strong communication and data storytelling skills—ability to convert complex analytical findings into clear, impactful messages.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or Power BI tools; experience with CoStar, GIS mapping platforms a plus.
- Experience collaborating broadly across an organization on large‑scale analyses and cross‑functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; general understanding of Retail KPI’s and FP&A terminology.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Real Estate Finance Proformas with an understanding of financial definitions.
- Self‑motivated and intellectually curious—seeks opportunities to improve analysis and the business proactively.
- Experience working closely with Finance and Store Operations teams, and ability to work effectively across all levels and teams.
