The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Regional Industrial Market Development Sales Manager to join Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, as the world leader in lighting in the Mid‑Atlantic territory, covering Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
Principal Responsibilities- Sell, promote, and train the CLS Industrial portfolio.
- Train internal teams, agents, channel partners, specifiers, and contractors.
- Forecasting and program/project management support.
- Deliver industrial sales from key relationships within assigned regions and/or named accounts.
- Engage key specifiers, customers, and influencers on VOC and future MGP inputs.
- Develop new segments, channels, and conduct analysis (e.g., industrial gear distribution).
- Execute commercial strategy and marketing program in collaboration with product management.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or direct work experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of commercial sales across a multi‑state territory, preferably in industrial lighting, controls, or similar industries.
- Experience as a lighting sales agent, regional lighting sales manager, or design professional.
- Willingness to travel 50‑60% of the time.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; no current or future company sponsorship required.
$120,000 – $176,000 Base Annually
BonusTarget 35% sales incentive bonus.
